Biography
As the Business Manager for Herbert Machnik, Alex’s work involves the day-to-day operation of the firm along with guiding it to long-term success and achieving the goals laid out by the Partners. Alex assists with the firm’s marketing, accounting, human resources, building and property management, and technology. With a focus on continuous improvement and efficient use of resources, Alex strives to make Herbert Machnik a firm clients continue to rely on for their legal needs as well as a place employees are proud to work. Alex holds a B.S. in Economics from Western Michigan University and has previous experience running a business in the construction industry and as an operations manager for a mid-sized law firm prior to that.
While not at work, Alex loves spending time in nature, hiking and camping with his dog, Scout. He also enjoys cooking, going to concerts, paddling the local waterways, working out and getting lost in a good book.
